The 114th Nanao Township Sports and Traditional Skills Competition Kicks Off To celebrate the spirit of sports and highlight indigenous cultural heritage, the “114th Nanao Township Sports and Traditional Skills Competition – Atayal Cultural Museum Mobile Carnival Experience” is taking place from June 6 to 8, 2025. This grand event, themed “Shelaw Klesan, kpiying ungat spngan – Energetic Nanao, Limitless Power”, blends sports, traditional games, cultural exhibitions, and hands-on carnival activities for a truly immersive experience. From competitive sports to cultural booths, the event features the Youth Carnival Experience Zone, where visitors can enjoy DIY crafts like sand art and clay modeling, collect cultural souvenirs, and participate in fun social media check-ins for limited-edition gifts. The Lanyang Indigenous Achievements Showcase and interactive Atayal language games also bring the community together in cultural appreciation.
